A group project inspired by EN205 principles: that English is a great and versatile degree. This panel strove to teach Park students about what English majors/minors can do and have done upon graduating from Park University.

Instructions are key in completing tasks and projects. As a teacher, it is my role to create instructions that enable my students to think for themselves and perform well. These instructions explain how to make hot tea using an electric kettle and tea bag.

As a culminating research project for EN387, this multi-modal digital bibliographic essay uses Microsoft Sway to discuss writing transfer between high school seniors and first-time college freshmen.

Editing is difficult, especially since the audience is typically partial to the work. This is an example of my edits on a college entrance essay. Though my teaching style edits differ, these they still represent good editing techniques.

A piece inspired during a quick write, "Straws" is about a narrator who struggles with many of the daily troubles we all encounter. This work was presented at the 2019 Sigma Tau Delta Conference.

I'M NOT YOUR PERFECT MEXICAN DAUGHTER ESSAY

This literary analysis was submitted to the 2020 Sigma Tau Delta Conference. It analyzes Julia Reyes experiencing bicultural stress from being ethnically different from her peers and culturally different from her family.
